Anglers of Honor’s first outing of the 2024 season, May 25, was a great day on the pristine, privately owned waters of Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club for participants from Operation TBI Freedom and Ft. Carson’s Soldier Recovery Unit.
The creek was high and fast, and the pond proved to be a great training ground for everyone wanting to learn the fundamentals of fly fishing from our volunteers and expert guides with Front Range Anglers. Quite a few fish were caught and released! By midday, everyone was ready to enjoy a wonderful pasta lunch provided by Gondolier Italian Eatery.
